Standard Diesel is a highly regarded, locally owned and operated repair shop for light duty diesel trucks and cars. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated mechanic to join our team. As a mechanic you will be responsible for performing a wide range of repairs on diesel light trucks and vehicles. This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical skills and attention to detail. Applicants must have their own tools.

 

Duties:

 

• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues

• Repair or replace faulty parts such as brakes, transmissions, and engines

• Maintain accurate records of all services performed

• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines

  

Skills:

 

• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of vehicle systems

• Proficiency in using hand tools and equipment

• Ability to fabricate, suspend, align, and transmit various components

• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and coworkers

 

 

Job Type: Full-time

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00-5:00 with lunch from 12:00-1:00

 

Starting Pay: From $25.00-$30 per hour, DOE
